Men's Discipleship Program
A premature birth doesn't only test a mother — it tests a family. Too often, the fathers in our community face the same fear, confusion, and grief as their partners, but with no space to process it, no model for what support looks like, and no one telling them they're needed. Some walk away. Many simply don't know how to stay.
A premature birth doesn't only test a mother — it tests a family. Too often, the fathers in our community face the same fear, confusion, and grief as their partners, but with no space to process it, no model for what support looks like, and no one telling them they're needed. Some walk away. Many simply don't know how to stay.
The Men's Discipleship Program exists to change that story. We walk alongside fathers spiritually and practically — helping them grow in faith, understand their role in their child's survival and development, and become the steady presence their families need during one of the most vulnerable seasons of their lives.
__What We Do__
Discipleship and Bible study built around faith, fatherhood, and personal growth
Practical caregiving education — Kangaroo Mother Care, feeding support, and hands-on infant care so fathers can actively participate, not just observe
Father engagement sessions during hospital visits, home visits, and World Prematurity Day activities
Peer community and mentorship, connecting fathers with other men walking the same road
Counselling and support for the fear, grief, and pressure that often go unspoken
__Why It Matters__
When fathers engage, mothers recover faster, babies do better, and families stay together through the hardest weeks of a preemie's life. We believe every father can become a source of strength for his family — and that discipleship, not just instruction, is what makes that change last.
